Imagine skiing in the Aragonese Pyrenees on Spain’s largest slopes at two of its most renowned resorts: Formigal and Panticosa.

Formigal, often called Spain’s ski mecca, is part of the largest ski destination in the country. We’ll ski at both resorts, located in Valle de Tena, Huesca, offering 182 kilometers of skiable terrain across 147 slopes (12 green, 36 blue, 52 red, 42 black).

In addition to the premier ski experience, our trip includes a stay at a luxurious 4-star hotel with an optional spa and sauna. The Formigal-Panticosa area is a top destination for summer sports, with 182 kilometers of slopes across six valleys.

We’ll ski at Formigal on the first day and Panticosa on the second.

Itinerary

Day 1 Valencia-PYRENEES ARAGONES

We will leave Valencia after lunch so that you can make the most of Friday and don’t have to take the day off work. We will arrive at around 8 pm, check in and have free time for dinner, after which anyone who wants to can come for a drink.

Day 2 FORMIGAL/PANTICOSA (depending on the programme)

We will wake up early in the morning and go to Formigal or Panticosa depending on the programme. After skiing, we will go to the hotel to rest or visit one of the villages (if we have time and are not too tired)

Day 3 Skiing and return to Valencia

On Sunday after breakfast, we will go skiing. Then we will return the equipment and head back to Valencia.

Aramón Formigal-Panticosa is located in the Pyrenees, the largest mountain range in Spain, which extends from the northeast of the Peninsula for 440 km. The area where the resort is located is called Valle de Tena, in the Alto Aragon region, one of the most beautiful in Spain. It is one of the few ski resorts in Spain where you can find areas designated for both beginners and experts. If you’re a ski lover, you’ll want to visit this place!

Our 4 **** hotel, Gran Balneario de Panticosa

Apart from the best destination for skiing, the team, the organization highlight the quality of our hotel. We have chosen a 4 **** hotel at the foot of the panticosa slopes with a spa, swimming pools and gym.

The hotel has spacious rooms, it counts with with Pool, Gym and Spa (Optional)

The rooms included in the price are TRIPLE but you can ask for double.

Double Supplement: € 15 / Person/ night. (Maximum 10 rooms, please reserve)

The slopes (Formigal & Panticosa)

Formigal-Panticosa is the largest destination for summer sports lovers, 182 skiable kilometers with 147 slopes (of which 12 are Green, 36 Blue, 52 Red, 42 Black), spread over the six valleys that make up the Valle de Had.
We will ski in the both ski resorts, 1st day in Formigal and 2nd day in Panticosa.

Additional tips

SKI EQUIPMENT: If you don’t have your own ski/snowboard equipment, don’t worry, you can rent it directly with us at the ski resort. The package includes skis, boots and poles, and you choose if you prefer with or without helmet.

SKI LESSONS: Do you feel like skiing or snowboarding but you still don’t know how? We help you learn this amazing winter sport with classes on the slopes. We offer group lessons for basic level!

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy for the trip: Up to 30 days the refund of 80% of the total amount. Up to 3 weeks (60% of the total amount). Up to 15 days 50% of the total amount. Less than 15 days before the trip, we cannot refund any money unless it is because of the government restrictions or health emergency. If you are late to the meeting point, we will not refund your money and you will lose it. The program is designed with a lot of experience and guides but there may be changes due to traffic, weather or another better alternative (we will inform you by mail and WhatsApp group). The amount of the reservation and the activities are not refundable.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
