Moraira

Discover Moraira, a charming coastal destination located in the municipality of Teulada (Alicante), famous for its combination of beaches, hidden coves and its castle by the sea. Once a small fishing village, it has become one of the most attractive spots on the Costa Blanca, while still preserving a relaxed and authentic Mediterranean atmosphere.

Among its main beaches is Playa de l’Ampolla, the largest and most accessible beach, featuring fine sand, crystal-clear waters and stunning views of the Peñón de Ifach and the Castle of Moraira. It is an ideal place for swimming, walking and enjoying the Mediterranean scenery.

Just a short walk away lies Cala L’Andragó, a perfect spot for snorkeling thanks to its clear waters and rich marine life. It is one of the best areas in Moraira to explore the underwater world of the Costa Blanca.

The most famous cove is Cala El Portet, a small shell-shaped bay with turquoise waters protected from the wind. Its natural surroundings make it ideal for activities such as kayaking, paddle surfing and diving, as well as relaxing by the sea.

Moraira combines sandy beaches, crystal-clear coves, nature and historical heritage, making it one of the most complete and authentic day trips on the Costa Blanca.

Departure from Valencia

We will meet at the meeting point, Avenida de Aragón 31, Mestalla Stadium (Google Maps)

Arrival in Moraira

Hiking time/Kayak time (optional)

We start the hiking route to Cap d’Or where we can enjoy views of the cape of La Nao and the Peñon de Ifach (optional).

For those who don’t want to go hiking, you can do Kayaking (optional) or go to enjoy the beach and snorkel.

From Portet beach to Moraira you can go walking.

Return to Valencia

We will meet on the bus to go back to Valencia.

We have to be fit to do the hiking route?

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

What is the hiking route difficulty?

You can find all the information of the hiking route in the hiking descrption section above (distance, diffulty, map, time etc..).

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

 

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation  with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Up to one week before the event: 100% refund, either in cash or as a credit voucher, based on your preference.
From one week to 72 hours before: 100% refund only as a credit voucher.
Less than 72 hours before: No refunds.
In case of a medical emergency or force majeure (with valid proof), or  due to weather conditions, the event will be rescheduled, or the credit voucher will be issued for use within one year.

Proof of emergency must be submitted before the event. No refunds after the event.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
