Tabarca Island is one of the most unique gems of the Mediterranean Sea and one of the most beautiful day trips on the Costa Blanca. Located off the coast of Alicante, this small island combines history, nature, paradise-like beaches, and crystal-clear waters in a truly unforgettable setting.
Known for its charming fishing village, narrow streets, and relaxed atmosphere, Tabarca offers the perfect escape to disconnect and enjoy authentic Mediterranean life. The island is a protected marine reserve, making it one of the best spots in the Valencian Community for snorkelling, swimming, and exploring vibrant underwater life in turquoise waters.
Beyond its stunning beaches and coves, Tabarca stands out for its fascinating history, linked to Mediterranean pirates and Genoese fishermen who settled on the island in the 18th century. Walking along its historic walls, discovering hidden corners by the sea, and tasting the local cuisine, especially the famous caldero tabarquino, are all part of an authentic and memorable experience.
Blending sea, history, and nature, Tabarca Island is the perfect destination for those looking for a unique excursion filled with spectacular landscapes, relaxation, and true Mediterranean charm.
