Cueva de Galera

With this hiking tour in the Sierra de Corbera, get ready to see a lot of dizzying landscapes and spectacular vegetation… until you reach the refuge of “El Ouet”, the old forest observatory, and the “Cova de la Galera” at 410 metres above sea level, where you can admire stalactites and stalagmites, typical of the karst landscape.

We will meet 15 minutes before departure at Avenida Aragón 31, Mestalla Stadium (Google Maps)

Arrival and start of the hiking route

In an hour and a half we arrive at our starting point and start the hiking route.

Lunch break in the middle of the route

Halfway along the way we stop for lunch together.

End of the route

We finish the hiking route and go for a drink together.

18:30Back to Valencia

We meet in the bus to go back to Valencia.

The path to L’Ouet and the Cova de la Galera is just over 8 kilometres long, and although it can be a challenge for those who are not used to slopes, it is worth it to enjoy the impressive views of the sea or the great vegetation provided by the Casella municipal natural park and its surroundings.

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

What is the hiking route difficulty?

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

 

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation  with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return):

  • Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
  • Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
  • After Thursday, no refund. 

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)

  • Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
  • Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
  • Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
  • After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
