We meet at Av. Aragón 31 at 7:45 to leave at 08:00.
We arrive and visit the chocolate factory and the museum.
We will have free time and take a look at the beautiful village, where you can find houses in many different colors and a good price on the seafood.
We arrive and have free time to stroll through the old town, its beaches or have lunch.
We meet at 17:15, and at 17:30 we return to Valencia.
VILLAJOYOSA
On the Costa Blanca we will discover another gem, Villajoyosa. This is one of the most beautiful villages in Alicante, whose history dates back to Roman times, which will give everyone a wonderful day on the best beaches, and tasting a rich seafood cuisine. Entering this beautiful coastal town you will have the sensation of walking through a rainbow of colours, thanks to the characteristic coloured houses of the old town. Walking through the narrow streets of Villajoyosa you cannot miss the magnificent Town Hall building, and the Church-Fortress of the Assumption. Moreover, the old town, as you can visit, was the site of the defensive works of the Barbary pirates who roamed the Mediterranean in the 16th century.
FÁBRICA AND MUSEUM OF CHOCOLATE VALOR
The factory we will visit has five generations of Valencians and a wide range of chocolate machinery, from the oldest to the most modern. Here we can discover how Valencian chocolate is made, thanks also to the museum’s new exhibition room.
CALPE
Calpe has obtained during the Roman Empire a great importance due to its strategic position between the sea, the ruins of the Baths of the Queens where the fish was preserved have been kept.
Later it passed into the hands of the Muslims and finally in 1254 it became part of the Kingdom of Aragon.
The Peñón de Ifach is protected by the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park which is one of the most visited in the Valencian Community. Refuge for unique species of the world and birds such as gulls, gannets, Eleonora’s falcon, peregrine falcon and swift.
Hiking enthusiasts can find wonderful views and some of the best beaches with crystal clear water.
