Teruel, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site for its medieval assets, is a town in Aragon built on a hill. This town contains a rich architectural heritage in the Mudéjar style, such as the cathedral. This legendary town, thanks to the famous story of the lovers of Teruel, still preserves charming spots like the Plaza del Torico in the city center, the Aqueduct of the Arches, and the bustling Paseo del Óvalo. Additionally, the town is very famous for its serrano ham, ceramics, and the archaeological sites that surround it.
As one of the most famous villages in Spain, Albarracín boasts many places to admire, such as its old town, which is why it has been declared a Cultural Heritage Site. At an altitude of 1,182 meters, on the side of a mountain and surrounded by the Guadalaviar River, Albarracín is one of Spain’s most beautiful villages. The 16th-century Cathedral of Salvador, the narrow cobblestone streets, its red houses, the impressive walls, the wooden carved balconies, the Alcázar, and the Episcopal Palace make this town a valuable architectural heritage that will transport you to the Middle Ages.
