info@wexcursion.comThe Pink Lagoon of Torrevieja is one of those strange natural phenomena that make you think you are in a movie set. You may ask yourself, but why does it have this color? Are these images edited? Of course not! That the water of this lagoon is pink has an explanation: like the Pink Lake of Australia, the waters of the pink lagoon of Torrevieja have a salinity equivalent to that of the Dead Sea. This added to the pleasant temperatures of Torrevieja throughout the year, has created an ideal ecosystem for some species of algae that release a reddish pigment that gives this hue to the waters.
Despite being one of the most Instagrammable places on the Costa Blanca, bathing in this natural lagoon is prohibited in order to protect such a unique place in the Valencian Community and to prevent any risk to the health of visitors, as each liter of water contains 350 grams of salt. The fact that bathing is forbidden does not mean that you can not enjoy this ecosystem in another way, since walking around it or cycling around it are the best ideas to not miss this place.

In case of a medical emergency or force majeure (with valid proof), or due to weather conditions, the event will be rescheduled, or the credit voucher will be issued for use within one year.
Proof of emergency must be submitted before the event. No refunds after the event.
