Paseo de Benissa

A route of great scenic beauty, which allows you to discover the coast of Benissa, its beautiful coves and cliffs. Here you will also admire breathtaking views and combine hiking and swimming in crystal clear waters.

Itinerary

8:30Departure from Valencia

We will meet at 8:15 at the meeting point, Avenida Aragón 31, Mestalla Stadium (Google Maps)

11:00Moreira and hiking

After a break in Moreira we start the hike. It’s an easy hike where, about every half hour, we take a break at the various waterfront bars.

Free time

After our route, we will have free time

18:00Back to Valencia

We will meet on the bus to go back to Valencia

A lovely walk

A beautiful and very simple route near the sea, about 3 kilometers long, where you can also discover both the botanical and geological world. During this walk you can also read explanatory panels to learn more about the area and rest in the picnic areas with benches and tables.

Walking you will admire different and beautiful coves of Benissa, such as Cala de les Bassetes, ideal for snorkeling, Cala Pinets, Cala de la Fuste and Cala de la LLobella, the wildest.

We have to be fit to do the hiking route?

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

What is the hiking route difficulty?

You can find all the information of the hiking route in the hiking descrption section above (Distance, diffulty, Map, time etc..).

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

 

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation  with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

General Faqs

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return):

  • Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
  • Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
  • After Thursday, no refund. 

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)

  • Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
  • Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
  • Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
  • After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
