4 cities and two hiking routes in the largest natural park in the Basque Country, the Gorbea Natural Park, and the Salto del Nervión, the largest waterfall in Spain. We will also discover “Rocadragon”, doesn’t this name mean anything to you? If you are thinking about game of thrones you are doing well because we will go to discover the amazing place where it was recreated: San Juan de Gaztelugatxe.
All this together with good company and organization will allow you to spend four phenomenal days.

Departure very early in the morning. As soon as we arrive we will discover San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. We will visit this beautiful place and then we will go to Bilbao where we will check in and have free time to relax, walk and have lunch.
The second day after breakfast you can choose between two options:
Option 1. Hiking route in Gorbeia Park + Vitoria.
Option 2. Gorbeia Park (Walk) + Vitoria.
We will divide people in 2 groups:
1. You will do the hiking route.
2. Walk in the park with beech forest and waterfalls. It is a hiking route in the Gorbeia Natural Park of moderate level, 11-13 kms, where you will discover very beautiful landscapes.
After the walk, we will go to Vitoria where we will have dinner before returning to Bilbao.
On the third day we will have a guided tour of Bilbao and we will also have a reservation to visit the famous Guggenheim Museum (optional).
In the afternoon at 16:00 we leave for San Sebastian to discover the city and have dinner together, who doesn’t want to go can stay in Bilbao.
You can plan the last day as you wish. You have several options: Wake up early and take advantage of the day and visit Bilbao quietly or wake up later quietly. At 13:00 we will visit one of the most famous wineries in Spain CVNE and have lunch in HARO and then a stop in Logroño. Afterwards we return to Valencia.
BILBAO
Bilbao, entre las ciudades españolas, es una de las más conocidas por la cultura y su urbanización de los últimos años. Aquí hay un museo muy famoso que es el museo Guggenheim, símbolo de la ciudad en todo el mundo y uno de los elementos característicos de la cultura vasca. El 3 día lo visitaremos con un guía (la visita es opcional).
GORBEIA NATURAL PARK
This Park with its 1482 meters of altitude, is one of the most important points of the Basque mountains, it marks the boundary between the territory of Biscay and Alava.
In this site there are many things to visit such as the Protected Biotope of Itxina and the Gujuli waterfall of more than 100 meters.
SAN SEBASTIAN
San Sebastian, symbol of the Belle epoque, historic city located on the ocean is a charming place that offers incredible places to visit such as the Victoria Eugenia Theater, the Plaza de Cervantes, the Miramar Palace, the Hotel Maria Cristina.
The city is known all over the world for being the city of cinema and also someone defines it as the most beautiful city in Spain.
VITORIA
Would you like to live a day in the medieval world? Vitoria will allow you to live it. It is the city with the best quality of life in Spain and its old town with its nature, its imposing cathedral and the Plaza Mayor will allow you to spend a phenomenal day.
HOTEL HESPERIA 4****
We have chosen our hotel very carefully. It is a centrally located hotel in a city where you can visit nature in the morning and go out in the evening. It is also a central point for all the routes and cities we are going to visit. The rooms are triple rooms but you can ask for a double or single room for a supplement.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation policy for the trip to the Pais Vasco: Up to 30 days 80% of the total amount will be refunded. Up to 3 weeks 60% of the total amount. Up to 15 days 50% of the total amount. Less than 15 days before the trip, we cannot refund any money unless it is due to government restrictions or health emergency. If you arrive late at the meeting point, we will not refund your money and you will lose it. The programme is designed with a lot of experience and guides but there may be changes due to traffic, weather or other better alternative (we will inform you by mail and WhatsApp group). The booking fee and activities are non-refundable.
