TABERNES DE LA VALLDIGNA

Among the many points of interest to visit, Tavernes Castle is a fortress perched on a rocky outcrop that from afar seems inaccessible, although it can be visited with care. In addition, you can visit the remains of the wall and the slender Torre de Guaita. Other charms of this town are the beaches such as Tavernes and La Goleta which are surrounded by beautiful orange groves. Put this destination on your list!

Tabernes de Valldigna is a municipality in the Valencian Community, located in the region of La Safor. In the Bolmor Cave, the oldest archaeological remains related to human beings in the whole Valencian Community have been found. Apart from nature, Tabernes de Valldigna is famous for its gastronomy. In addition to the popular paella, rice dishes are typical. Other typical dishes are puchero con pelota and cocas de morcajo.

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return):

  • Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
  • Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
  • After Thursday, no refund. 

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)

  • Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
  • Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
  • Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
  • After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
