Don’t miss the Guadalaviar river nature trail in San Blas. The route features a river walk that takes you to some very striking landscapes.
The protagonist of the route is the water that has created this route where you can enjoy nature and bathe.

Meet at 8:45 am at Avenida Aragón 31, Mestalla Stadium(Google Maps)

10:30Arrival and start of the route

We will arrive around 10:30 and start the walk.

We finish our route and go to discover the city and have a drink together.

18:00Go back to Valencia

We will meet at the bus to leave for Valencia.

Hiking Ruta Guadalaviar

The name of the route “Guadalaviar” was born in the 10th century. It is an arabic word meaning “white river”. The river is 72 kilometres long and reaches as far as Teruel.
The route of the Guadalaviar Nature Route is surprising. It follows the river Guadalajara and ends at a reservoir with breathtaking views. During the route you cross footbridges over the river and it is possible to find amazing views to waterfalls, rock formations and caves.

We have to be fit to do the hiking route?

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

What is the hiking route difficulty?

You can find all the information of the hiking route in the hiking descrption section above (Distance, diffulty, Map, time etc..).

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

 

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation  with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return):

  • Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
  • Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
  • After Thursday, no refund. 

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)

  • Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
  • Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
  • Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
  • After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
