A little break before starting the hiking
Let’s drink some beers, and have a swim.
We will meet on the bus to go back to Valencia
We will be about 100 km from Valencia and when we say ‘in the middle of nowhere’, we mean that there is no place to buy things, except in a small ecotourism restaurant. There is no telephone network and no internet. Only satellite/phone connection works.
The river will be “divided” into two parts:
The first part is not very difficult and is about 4 km long
The second part, a bit more difficult, is about 2,5 km. In the second part there will be abseiling and you will have to swim most of the time.
The level of the route is medium high and participants should be able to swim well and be physically strong. We are going to walk in a river, normally the water reaches our knees but sometimes we have to go through lagoons and we have to swim. Participants should be physically fit and it is recommended that you have hiking experience.
