Hiking Bejis

One of the most beautiful trails in the province of Castellón, come and discover the unspoilt nature of the mountains of Bejís. We will walk along a beautiful path next to a river where you can bathe if you are strong enough.

Itinerary

8:30 am Meeting in Valencia

We meet at 08:30 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31), A small introduction to the group and we leave for the hike. 

Arrival, Break and start of the hike

On arrival in Bejis we will go for a coffee and bathrooms and just after We will start the hike. On the way we will do the lunch break.

Finish the trek Say bye bye and back to Valencia

Finish the trek, we will go for a drink and head back to Valencia.

Description of the hike

Distance: 15.95km (circular route)

Elevation gain: 1km (1012 Mts)

Difficulty: medium-high (You have to be physically fit and requires apropiate footwear and sun protection)

During the hike you will have the choice to either continue until the mountain peak or take the normal route.

Hiking Bejis

We start our journey in the village of Bejís, a small town of only 300 inhabitants, but with many beautiful places. An obligatory stop is the Fuente de Los Cloticos, a recreational area and a perfect place to have a picnic and relax in nature. The route is a circular path, we pass by a beautiful river and enjoy beautiful landscapes always different, a magical place in the Valencian Community.

We have to be fit to do the hiking route?

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

What is the hiking route difficulty?

You can find all the information of the hiking route in the hiking descrption section above (Distance, diffulty, Map, time etc..).

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

 

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation  with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

General Faqs

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return):

  • Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
  • Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
  • After Thursday, no refund. 

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)

  • Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
  • Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
  • Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
  • After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
