We meet in Av. Aragón 31 at 8:45 and we leave at 09:00. (Please be punctual)
We arrive in Alfondeguilla and we start the route
In the middle of the route we take a pause to eat and enjoy the view from the top.
We finish the route and we drink something together
We meet on the bus and go back to Valencia.
Castro’s Castle
During this route, which is one of the most beautiful, you will walk into the forest and you will see breathtaking views.
We will start the route from Alfondeguilla, pass through the Fonteta ravine until we reach Castro’s Castle, which is located at an altitude of 787 meters above sea level. This fortress was erected by the Arabs, but was used by the Romans as a watchtower.
Climbing up the path, you will be immersed in Roman times: you will find many remains of the past, such as an aqueduct known as “l’Arquet”. On top of the hill, arriving at the castle after almost two hours of walking, you will admire the remains of the wall, the tower and the fantastic panorama.
