Located in the province of Alicante, Calpe is known for its majestic Peñón de Ifach, symbol of the Costa Blanca, a rocky mountain 332 metres high that offers one of the best panoramic views of the Levantine coastline.

Once we arrive, we will take a short break and then start the route with who wants to take part to the hiking. Those who do not want to do the hiking can enjoy free time to discover the city of Calpe.
We finish our route and go to discover the city and have a drink together with the ones that may have remained in the city centre.
Around 18:00 we start our way back to Valencia.
The town of Calpe is characterized by its beautiful beaches, a picturesque old town with narrow streets, and a lively promenade lined with restaurants, bars, and shops. However, the most striking landmark is the Peñón de Ifach, which dominates the skyline and is a designated nature reserve.
Peñón de Ifach is a haven for nature enthusiasts and hikers, offering a moderately challenging but rewarding trek to the summit. The trail takes adventurers through diverse flora and fauna, providing panoramic views of the surrounding coastline and the town of Calpe. At the top, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking vistas of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding landscapes, making it a popular spot for photography and sightseeing. While the trail is well-marked and maintained, it involves steep sections and uneven terrain, so it’s important to wear appropriate footwear and exercise caution, especially in hot weather.
Altea enchants visitors with its labyrinthine cobblestone streets, adorned with whitewashed houses adorned with colorful bougainvillea cascading from balconies. Its historic old town, perched atop a hill, offers panoramic vistas of the azure Mediterranean Sea. The focal point of the skyline is the iconic Nuestra Señora del Consuelo Church, its blue-and-white domes standing as a beacon of Altea’s identity.
As the Mediterranean sun glistens on its shores, Altea invites travelers to explore its inviting beaches, where soft sands meet gentle waves, offering moments of serenity and relaxation. Strolling along the palm-lined promenade, one is greeted by the soothing rhythm of the sea and the aroma of freshly caught seafood wafting from nearby restaurants
