Alcoy is a not well known place that will surprise you a lot. It is a city surrounded by the Natural Park of Font Roja, the third most visited natural park in the region, where you can enjoy taking strolls or just relax. Another important tip: don’t leave without having tried the typical gastronomy of the region!
On the other hand, in Bocairent you will be enchanted by its historical centre, declared as a proper historic-artistic site, with its narrow streets it has given to the city the name of ”little Tuscany”.

ALCOY
Alcoy is known as “the city of bridges” or also as “the city of the three rivers”, given to the number of the rivers that run throught it: the Riquer, the Benisaidó and the Molinar, all tributaries of the Serpis.
The city is full of amazing natural parks, but it mostly stands out in the touristic field for its historical heritage and its traditional celebrations, considered to be the most ancient in Spain. Some are also well known internationally, as the “Fiesta de los Moros y Cristianos” and the “Cabalgata de Reyes Magos de Alcoy”.
BOCAIRENT
Bocairent, or “the village between the rocks”, originated during the Muslim period with the name of Bukayrān. This is well reflected in the conformation of its historic centre, full of stairs and steep streets. You can’t miss its three chapels: Sant Joan, Mare de Déu dels Desemparats y Mare de Déu d’Agost. If you like museums this is the perfect city for you: the “Museo de Oficios y Costumbres” and the “Museo Arqueológico Municipal Vicent Casanova” will give you the opportunity to dive into the culture of this beautiful village.
