Discover Cala Moraig, one of the most spectacular coves on the Costa Blanca, on a day trip from Valencia. Located in Benitatxell, this hidden gem is famous for its turquoise waters, impressive cliffs, and wild Mediterranean scenery, making it one of the most beautiful natural spots on the Alicante coast.

Surrounded by high limestone cliffs, Cala Moraig offers crystal-clear waters that are perfect for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the Mediterranean in a unique natural setting. Its pebble beach and unspoilt atmosphere create a peaceful experience, far from the crowded tourist areas.

The area is also renowned for its spectacular coastal landscapes and trails with panoramic sea views. One of its most iconic landmarks is the famous Cova dels Arcs, a natural sea cave formed by water erosion over centuries.

An ideal excursion for those looking for nature, sea, relaxation, and unforgettable landscapes in one of the most iconic coves of the Costa Blanca.

Arrival to Cala Moraig

We’ll go directly to the beach to enjoy the crystalline water and do some snorkeling… 

Hiking time

Hiking group: we meet in the parking and we will start the route. We will come back to go to the bus.

Non-hiking group: who doesn’t want to do the hiking or stay in Cala Moraig.

Meeting at the bus

We will visit the famous viewpoint “Cumbres del sol” and then return to Valencia.

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

 

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation  with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Up to one week before the event: 100% refund, either in cash or as a credit voucher, based on your preference.
From one week to 72 hours before: 100% refund only as a credit voucher.
Less than 72 hours before: No refunds.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
