Feria de la Cereza + Kayak + Salto de la Novia

The Feria de la Cereza is the perfect time and place for you to enjoy the rich culture of Caudiel. We will experience a variety of great traditions and activities. But not only that: later in this tour we will visit Jerica and then take a (optional) kayak tour. Afterwards we will see the impressive Salto de la Novia.

Itinerary

9:00Departure from Valencia

We will meet 8:45 at the meeting point Estadio Mestalla, Av. Aragón 31 (Google Map).

Arrival in Caudiel

We will arrive in Caudiel and enjoy the Feria de la Cereza.

Kayak activity

After the fair we will do a kayak activity (optional), who doesn’t want the activity can go directly to discover the waterfall of Salto de la Novia. For people who participate in the activity they will go to the waterfall too after it.

18:30Return to Valencia

We will meet at 18:30 to go back to Valencia.

La Feria de la Cereza

This festival is one of the most popular and most visited of the municipal of Caudiel. Since 1998, the Feria de la Cereza has been celebrated as we know it today to honour and promote Caudiel’s rich culture. This includes local crafts, folklore, gastronomy and especially cherries, the most typical food of the region. In 2017, the festival received the title of “Fiesta de Interés Turístico Provincial de la Comunidad Valenciana” (Festival of Tourist Interest of the Valencian Community). The Cherry Festival takes place over a whole weekend, and in addition to the famous cherry market, there are various activities by local organisations to see and hear.

Salto de la Novia

Navajas, a very beautiful village with a lot of history. The protagonist of this town is its spectacular waterfall “el salto de la Novia”, a wonderful place to enjoy nature and take pictures. But not only, in its central square preserves the most important tree of the Valencian Community, the oldest elm in the world that also appears in the Guinness Book of Records, and another thing that draws attention is the large number of stately homes of great architectural value.

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return)
Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
After Thursday, no refund. 

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)
Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
