HIKING PUIG CAMPANA

Take on Puig Campana, the second-highest mountain in Alicante at 1,480 meters, and one of the most challenging hikes in the Valencian Community. This demanding trek rewards hikers with breathtaking 360° panoramic views over the surrounding landscapes.

With over 1,000 meters of elevation gain and steep, rocky terrain, Puig Campana is suitable for those in excellent physical condition with prior mountain hiking experience. Perfect for adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts looking for an unforgettable hiking experience in Alicante.

Itinerary

8:30 Meeting in Valencia

 We meet at 08:30 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31), A small introduction to the group and we leave for the big hike.

Arrival, Break and Hike

Arriving and a small break and start hike. On the half way we will make lunch break.

Finish trek, Drinks, and home

When we finish the trek we will go to have a drink and after that we will leave for Valencia.

We have to be fit to do the hiking route?

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

What is the hiking route difficulty?

You can find all the information of the hiking route in the hiking descrption section above (Distance, diffulty, Map, time etc..).

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation  with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

General Faqs

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return):

  • Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
  • Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
  • After Thursday, no refund. 

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)

  • Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
  • Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
  • Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
  • After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
