We will go into the unspoilt nature to follow a natural route during which there will be laughter and fun and we will even get on a boat for an incredible journey through breathtaking scenery. Our adventure will end at the bottom of the castle, allowing us to make a wonderful cultural visit as well.

On the half point we arrive at the castle. We will make the lunch break, and will start coming back

We go to Cofrents and we drink something together

A magnificent hiking experience will take us to a castle considered one of the most magical places in Spain: it is located in the area of Cortes de Pallás, in the Umbría de Chirel and offers a unique cultural heritage and impressive viewpoints. This amazing medieval castle was, in ancient times, a key place for the control of trade on the Júcar route. Today, it is a fortress on the red heritage list, i.e. in serious danger, and is undergoing extensive restoration. The fortress dates back to the 15th century and historical sources from 1349 praise the importance of the site for its strategic location and its perfectly integrated form in the geography of the territory. To reach this enchanted fortress you will feel as if you were living the adventures of a fairy tale: a river cruise for 30km and then we will go deep into the dense vegetation.

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return):

Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
After Thursday, no refund.

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)

Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
