Cala Granadella

This is a unique opportunity to spend a day of sun, sea, fun and sport with your friends, or to meet new people from the area or from all over the world against the backdrop of the crystal clear sea. We are going to take you to a beautiful gravel beach located in the province of Alicante, in the southernmost area of Xàbia. It is also considered one of the treasures of Xàbia and has been voted two years in a row as the best beach in Spain by a contest held by Antena 3. We will enjoy its crystal clear waters, snorkelling, walking, relaxing and enjoying the views.

What to bring

  • Food and drink: We recommend that you bring it from home, so you will not spend a lot of money and you will have more freedom and time to enjoy the beach and the trail.
  • Comfortable clothing and footwear
  • Beach stuff : swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, etc.
  • For snorkeling: snorkeling equipment.
  • These are rocky beaches, so we recommend that you wear water shoes so you don't walk barefoot.
Itinerary

8:00leaving Valencia

We will meet at 7:45 in Av.Aragón 31 and we will leave at 8:00

10:00 /10:30 Arrival

We arrive and we go to the beach

15:00 Activities

After enjoying the beach we start hiking (optional) or kayaking (optional).

17:45 We will meet on the bus

At 17:45 we will meet in the bus to go and discover Cabo de la Nao viewpoint

18:30 Arrival at the viewpoint of Cabo de la Nao

At 18:30 Arrival at the viewpoint of Cabo de la Nao (If we have time and the day is clear), where we will enjoy an incredible view, and then return to Valencia.

CALA GRANADELLA

In this paradise you can explore the area while soaking up the sun and sea breeze, dive into the famous crystal clear waters for a refreshing swim and enjoy various sporting activities. In fact, Cala Granadilla is famous for its beautiful seabed and crystal clear waters that offer unforgettable diving experiences (Blue Flag since 1987).
Tips: Equip yourself with water, sun cream, swimming costume, what you need for a day at the beach and any snorkelling equipment.

We will also go to discover Mirador El cabo de la Nao, one of the most magical and evocative places in La Cala. From here it will be possible to admire the whole bay and the splendid Mediterranean landscape: an unmissable and unique place.

We have to be fit to do the hiking route?

You need to be physically fit to do the hiking route.

What is the hiking route difficulty?

Should we bring our own food?

Yes, it is recommended to bring your own food because in most of the hiking places it is not possible to buy it.

 

What do I need to hike?

You can consult the section “what to bring” & “hiking description” where it will be clearly mentioned what you need for the excursion. You will also receive an email after the reservation  with detailed information.

Do I need to know how to use a map?

You don’t need to know how to use map, bacause the mountain tours have a professional mountain guide.

General Faqs

How/Where can I book?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of day trips (same day return):

  • Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions.
  • Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher.
  • After Thursday, no refund. 

In case of a trip of more than one day (Overnight)

  • Up to 1 month before: 100% refund
  • Up to 3 weeks: 80% refund
  • Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund
  • After 2 weeks: No refund

In case of no-show on the day of travel there is no refund, in case of late arrival at the meeting point there is no refund.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
